Originating from Peshwa Era in Maharashtra , India , its Delicate motifs inspired by traditional Maratha architecture, such as lotus flowers, peacocks, and intricate jali work, adorn each piece. It is a necklace. A large stone encrusted with many heads of pearls or a cluster of stones and rough (unfaceted) diamonds. Sometimes the stem is also woven with silk threads instead of pearls. This is a special Peshwa jewelry of pearls. The medal which is in the middle is called the trunk of Tanmani.
