Tanmani (तन्मणी)
It is a necklace. A large stone encrusted with many heads of pearls or a cluster of stones and rough (unfaceted) diamonds. Sometimes the stem is also woven with silk threads instead of pearls. This is a special Peshwa jewelry of pearls. The medal which is in the middle is called the trunk of Tanmani. The necklace features intricate gold work with gemstone embellishments, usually pearls, rubies, or emeralds, arranged in a symmetrical pattern.
Chinchpeti (चिंचपेटी)
A vajratika-like neck ornament made of tamarind leaf-shaped gold boxes with pearls or diamonds inlaid and tied with silk. In the Rukmini temple of Pandharpur, there are four chinchpet is given to Rukmini by the Peshwas. It is mentioned in one poem, brother gave Tanmani to his sister as a gift – Chinchpeti
“भाऊबीजे दिवशी भाऊ घालतो ओवाळणी | त्यानं ताटामधी टाकतन्मणी।"
